Hello there and welcome,<\/p>\n

I decided to begin a blog for myself to document my journey as I learn about \u00a0software development. \u00a0If you have any ideas about subjects or have questions don’t hesitate to leave me a comment.<\/p>\n

I will try to have an article here at least once a week.<\/p>\n

So here is the plan:<\/strong><\/h6>\n

I am already thinking about learning more about algorithms<\/strong> and data-structures<\/strong> as I did not have the opportunity \u00a0to learn about these subjects in \u00a0school.<\/p>\n

For this purpose I plan on going over this three curses from MIT :<\/p>\n

  1. MIT 6.006 Introduction to Algorithms, Fall 2011<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. MIT 6.046J Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Spring 2015<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. MIT 6.854 (Advanced Algorithms), Spring 2016<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I \u00a0have found a cool book called Learn C# by Building a Simple RPG by \u00a0Scott Lilly<\/a>\u00a0(<\/strong>which is free by the way and he also has some good youtube\u00a0tutorials on C#\u00a0) .<\/strong>\u00a0I plan on going through it \u00a0because I was already thinking about building a game and the book seems fun.<\/p>\n

    I want to learn more about ASP.NET and there was a sale on Udemy so I bought\u00a0The Complete ASP.NET MVC 5 Course<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Mosh Hamedani<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0because\u00a0I’ve already seen some of his work\u00a0and I know he does quality stuff (also it was like 10 euro).<\/p>\n

    Was also thinking about doing some\u00a0Xamarin<\/strong> tutorials but I don’t know, maybe I should concentrate more on C# and ASP.NET. Xamarin \u00a0is rising in popularity lately and it’s becoming mainstream for cross-platform development but I don’t know, I should concentrate more on one subject.<\/p>\n

    I was thinking of creating a “Where Do I Start?” section for my site, to put there some\u00a0 recommendations, books, advice, tools, frameworks for people starting with C# and create \u00a0a github repo about Data structures\/Algorithms and Design Patterns because by doing them I can also learn more about these subjects.<\/p>\n

    Lastly, I am thinking (for a long time now) about getting some certifications like ISTQB, ITIL, and some Microsoft ones .<\/p>\n

    That’s about it.<\/p>\n
